Welcome to the Jackson County Law Library, Inc. (JCLL).  JCLL serves the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County and subscribing attorney members.  Founded in 1871, JCLL became a 501(c)(3) subscription library in 1976.

JCLL provides access to modern and traditional legal research resources, in both print and electronic formats.  These include state and federal statutes, regulations, court rules, cases, forms, and practice guides.  JCLL also offers access to practice-specific treatises and other secondary sources, including Continuing Legal Education materials and legal non-fiction.  Throughout the year, JCLL also provides CLE programming on a variety of topics; many of these programs are free.

Members may access the library during evenings and weekends, with the purchase of a key fob.  JCLL also offers all members unlimited onsite access to Westlaw as part of the annual membership fee.  The library offers free WiFi access, along with printing (for a nominal fee), scanning, and faxing.  A small conference room is available, by reservation.
